Panel Discussion “3D Recovery: Partnership, EU Integration and Human Capital”

On 23 June, USUBC, in partnership with the Business Ombudsman Council of Ukraine, hosted “3D Recovery: Partnership, EU Integration and Human Capital,” a panel discussion examining how Ukraine’s recovery is being shaped at the regional and community level through cooperation between government, business, and international partners.

The event opened with remarks from Irina Paliashvili, USUBC President & CEO, and Anka Feldhusen, Business Ombudsman of Ukraine, setting the stage for two strategic panels focused on translating high-level recovery commitments into practical, community-driven outcomes.

The first panel, “Building Bilateral Bridges: Recovery Projects in the Context of EU Integration,” was moderated by Anna Kovalenko, Senior Advisor at USUBC, and explored how recovery projects are intersecting with Ukraine’s path toward European integration, drawing on perspectives from regional government and the international business community. The second panel, “Human Capital as a Driver of Recovery,” was moderated by Dmytro Polyanskyi, Senior Recovery Lead at the Business Ombudsman Council, and examined the role of workforce development and education in building a resilient and sustainable recovery, with input from government, financial institutions, and industry representatives.
