The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) held an exclusive Member Briefing on Defense Procurement & Industry on 28 May, in a hybrid format with participants joining both online and in person at a central Kyiv venue. The event featured Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and provided USUBC members with a valuable opportunity for direct dialogue with the leadership of Ukraine’s defense sector.
This important meeting focused on Ukraine’s updated defense procurement processes, the operating procedures and workflow of the Defense Procurement Agency, and the integration of international businesses into Ukraine’s defense procurement system. It also explored available joint production formats for international defense companies operating in Ukraine.
