On the 24th of October, USUBC hosted an in-person working breakfast in Kyiv, featuring leadership from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Arvid Tuerkner, Managing Director for Ukraine and Moldova, Irina Kravchenko, Deputy Head for Ukraine, and Olga Yeriomina, Associate Director and Senior Banker for Energy Europe, shared valuable insights on opportunities for businesses to engage with the EBRD on funding, partnerships, and investment. Discussions also focused on the EBRD’s role in Ukraine’s energy sector recovery, financial and technical assistance, and initiatives to strengthen Ukraine’s banking and public institutions.
The event, moderated by Greg Fishman, USUBC Secretary/Treasurer, provided an interactive platform for attendees to explore ways to collaborate with EBRD and support Ukraine’s economic growth and resilience.
