A new chapter in Ukraine’s energy sector is taking shape, bringing together global expertise and extensive diplomatic experience at a critical time for the country. Geoffrey R. Pyatt, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and Senior Managing Director of the Energy and Critical Minerals Practice at McLarty Associates, has been appointed Chairman of the Advisory Council at DTEK – both longstanding members of USUBC. In this role, Geoffrey Pyatt will help guide strategic decisions and enhance international cooperation.
With over 35 years of experience in diplomacy and energy policy, his leadership will help bolster Ukraine’s energy resilience, support European integration, and advance broader energy security objectives. The Advisory Council unites leading global policymakers and experts to provide practical, high-impact guidance as Ukraine to align its energy future with Europe.
