On 17 October, USUBC took part in the World Bank Knowledge Café held during the 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and IMF. The session, titled “Jobs after Shock: Can Crisis Unleash New Growth?”, explored how economies rebuild after crises and what enables some to generate new firms, ideas, and employment while others stagnate.
Mykhailo Bno-Airiian, Global Director for Government Relations at MHP, a USUBC member, spoke at the event, highlighting Ukraine’s experience in fostering growth and resilience amid ongoing challenges. Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of USUBC, also joined the discussion, contributing her insights on innovation, private sector recovery, and the broader context of Ukraine’s reconstruction.
