USUBC is pleased to support and partner with Ukrainian Valley, a newly launched nonprofit organization uniting Ukrainians in Silicon Valley, across the U.S., and worldwide. The community brings together leaders from academia and global technology companies to strengthen professional collaboration and advocacy for Ukraine.
With a mission to connect, empower, and mobilize the Ukrainian science and tech diaspora, Ukrainian Valley will serve as a hub for professional networking and global advocacy for Ukraine.
“Our vision is to unite the Ukrainian science and tech community of Silicon Valley with Ukrainian counterparts worldwide,” said Alexander Soroka, Founding Member. “By creating a strong global network, we can amplify our talents, support each other, and strengthen Ukraine’s future.”
Representing leading institutions such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, Harvard, and global technology companies (Google, Meta, Tesla, Nvidia, etc.), the Ukrainian Valley’s Founding Members embody the spirit of collaboration between academia, industry, and the Ukrainian community. Their diverse backgrounds and professional expertise form the foundation for a global platform with immense impact.

1. Community-Building Across Borders: Creating a global network connecting Ukrainians in Silicon Valley with science and tech communities across the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine, fostering collaboration and solidarity.
2. Professional Growth: Leveraging Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem to connect professionals worldwide, sharing knowledge, mentorship, and resources that benefit both local communities and Ukraine.
3. Philanthropy and Humanitarian Action: Coordinating global fundraising and relief initiatives to support Ukraine’s humanitarian needs, recovery, and post-war reconstruction.
Upcoming Inaugural Event
The launch event at the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco on October 2, 2025, will serve as a landmark moment to bring together Ukrainian innovators, science and tech leaders from Silicon Valley, alongside global partners. The purpose is to showcase the strength of the Ukrainian community in the world’s leading innovation hub, foster professional collaboration, and lay the foundation for a global network that unites talent, resources, and ideas to support Ukraine’s future.
