CMS has provided a detailed analysis of Draft Law No. 13219, recently adopted by the Ukrainian Parliament as a basis to enhance the country’s renewable energy auction system. The proposed amendments aim to attract more domestic and foreign investors by improving the rules for allocating renewable energy quotas, updating Guarantees of Origin regulations, and simplifying grid connection procedures for new installations. Once adopted, the law is expected to strengthen competition, boost investor confidence, and accelerate Ukraine’s transition to clean energy.
