On 13 April 2026, the Government of Ukraine approved a policy on the management of intellectual property rights in the defence-industrial complex — a landmark step that DLF Attorneys-at-law has analysed in detail. The firm notes that the policy introduces standardised rules for allocating rights to state-funded technologies, replacing a fragmented regulatory landscape that had long constrained the deployment of defence innovations.
