Searby PLLC supported Dignitas Ukraine, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, at its second annual Tech Explorers fundraising evening, “Shaping Tomorrow,” held on 17 April in the Washington, D.C. area. The event brought together leaders from technology, policy, and business to expand access to technology education for children in Ukraine and successfully reached its $100,000 fundraising goal in support of the Tech Explorers program.
Highlights included a keynote discussion between General David H. Petraeus and CNN’s Kimberly Dozier, as well as demonstrations by student participants showcasing hands-on technical skills, including drone operation. Guests also took part in an auction of contemporary Ukrainian art benefiting the initiative. Dignitas Ukraine will continue expanding Tech Explorers to equip young people across Ukraine with critical skills for the country’s recovery and future innovation economy.
