As of 29 April 2026, legal entities can officially submit compensation claims to the Register of Damage for Ukraine (RD4U) — an international body established by Ukraine, the European Union, and 42 states to address losses caused by Russian armed aggression since 24 February 2022. Three business claim categories are now open, covering damage to critical and non-critical infrastructure as well as loss of assets, with claims submitted electronically through Ukraine’s Diia portal. Sayenko Kharenko has published a detailed legal guide outlining who is eligible, what documentary evidence is required, and how the review process works — advising clients to gather as much supporting evidence as possible and consider obtaining an independent expert assessment to substantiate both direct losses and lost profits.
