At a ceremony held at OAS Headquarters, the Trust for the Americas and the Organization of American States recognised Mastercard’s sustained leadership in digital and financial inclusion across the Western Hemisphere, honouring the company with the 2025 Corporate Citizen of the Americas Award — a distinction given to organisations that have meaningfully improved the lives of underserved communities over more than 15 years. Central to the recognition is Mastercard Strive, a philanthropic initiative of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth that equips small businesses and entrepreneurs across the Americas with practical tools, access to capital, and connections to drive inclusive economic growth.
