DLF Attorneys-at-law has analyzed a landmark change in Ukrainian business law: as of 24 February 2026, companies no longer need a customer’s signature on acceptance certificates to validate service or work completion, provided a simplified procedure is agreed upon in the contract. The reform is set to cut payment delays, reduce paperwork burdens, and bring Ukrainian document flow in line with European standards — with particular relevance for IT, consulting, marketing, and outsourcing sectors. Alongside this flexibility, DLF notes that businesses must carefully define documentary procedures in their agreements to avoid potential disputes over scope, quality, or tax compliance.
