Research by Deloitte Ukraine and Women on Boards Ukraine shows that while women now hold 31% of supervisory board seats in Ukrainian companies, their full potential in corporate governance remains underutilized. The findings, presented at The Diversity Advantage Forum 2026, emphasize that gender diversity strengthens decision-making and resilience, particularly amid war, workforce shortages, and future reconstruction. Despite widespread recognition of women’s competence, companies continue to face barriers from stereotypes and limited systematic DEI policies, with only a third of firms having formal diversity programs in place.
