The event, organized by Kidsave, brings together families, advocates, and supporters to celebrate the impact of connecting children in care with loving, permanent families — with the Washington, D.C. gala honoring community leaders Darrell Booker of Microsoft and Sixto Cancel, CEO of Think Of Us, for their contributions to child welfare. The D.C. gathering is the first of three galas taking place across the country, followed by Los Angeles on 6 June and Houston on 20 June.
