Six battery storage systems with a combined capacity of 200 MW and 400 MWh have been connected to the power grid in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, providing backup electricity for up to 600,000 homes. Completed in just six months, the €125 million project enhances grid stability, supports renewable energy, and strengthens Ukraine’s resilience ahead of winter. The initiative reflects strong U.S.-Ukraine cooperation in advancing modern energy infrastructure.
