On 21 August 2025, the Parliament of Ukraine introduced a special legal framework designed to stimulate the development of the defense industry, attract investment, and accelerate the production of modern military technologies. The new Defense City regime grants qualifying enterprises tax exemptions, simplified customs and export procedures, as well as government support for relocation and protection of production facilities. The framework will remain in force until January 2036, providing long-term incentives for companies engaged in Ukraine’s defense sector.
