Day & Zimmermann Signs Agreement With Defendica on Munitions Technology

Day & Zimmermann Lone Star LLC and Defendica Systems Inc. have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a framework for cooperation in defense technology development, bringing together Defendica’s fuzing, initiation, and sensor technologies with Day & Zimmermann’s U.S.-based munitions manufacturing capabilities. The companies plan to evaluate technical interoperability, establish joint testing and validation protocols, and pursue pathways toward U.S., NATO, and allied qualification standards. Leadership from both organizations described the collaboration as an opportunity to combine field-informed technology development with over a century of experience supporting U.S. and allied defense readiness.
