30 Years of Progress: USUBC Milestones
1995
The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) was founded in Washington, D.C. by 20 major U.S. companies, including ADM, Cargill, Bunge, Boeing, and Westinghouse, to promote U.S.-Ukraine business cooperation.
2006
Morgan Williams became USUBC President & CEO; USUBC set up its Kyiv-based team, amplifying U.S.-Ukraine economic partnership on-the-ground in Ukraine.
2010
The “Invest in Ukraine” campaign was launched to promote investment opportunities in infrastructure and manufacturing.
2016
2017
The Ukrainian Agrarian Congress – a major U.S.-Ukraine agriculture policy forum held in Washington, D.C.
2018
Strengthening trade ties – expanding bilateral business cooperation between the two countries, intensifying programming and advocacy efforts.


2022
The “Rebuild Ukraine” initiative – mobilizing private sector support for reconstruction and enhancing business resilience following Russia’s full-scale invasion.
2023
The U.S.-Ukraine Defense Industrial Base Forum – co-hosted with the U.S. National Security Council, as well as the Departments of Defense, State, and Commerce.
2024

Establishing the USUBC Defense Working Group with over 50 member companies, and Energy/Minerals Core Group to explore opportunities under the framework of the U.S.-Ukraine Economic Partnership in the areas of energy, minerals, reconstruction and the newly launched Reconstruction Investment Fund.

In Memory of Morgan Williams

Morgan Williams was a visionary who significantly influenced the U.S.-Ukraine business community for almost three decades. As President & CEO of USUBC, he transformed the organization into the largest and most active business association outside of Ukraine.
In addition to his extraordinary business contributions, Morgan worked to preserve Ukraine’s cultural memory, amassing the most comprehensive art collection, “Holodomor: Through the Eyes of Ukrainian Artists”, which, on his behest, his family donated to the Ukrainian nation – to the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide.
His legendary words – “Full Speed Ahead!” – serve as a lasting call to continue his mission of partnership, advocacy and faith in the U.S.-Ukraine economic partnership and Ukraine’s future.
