Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has officially established a dedicated missile manufacturing division, with a primary focus on developing air defense systems capable of intercepting enemy UAVs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The initiative aligns with President Zelenskyy’s strategy to build domestic anti-aircraft missile capabilities, and the company has already begun recruiting and onboarding specialised engineers across multiple areas of missile development. BlueBird Tech expects Ukraine to see tangible results from these efforts within the coming years, with domestic production aimed at reducing reliance on partner supplies and lowering the cost of countering aerial threats.
