Oleksiy (Alex) Slusarenko is Assistant Secretary/Treasurer and Director of Financial Administration at the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), based in Washington, D.C. He oversees financial management, budgeting, accounting operations, and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and effective financial governance for the organization.
He has extensive experience in financial administration across nonprofit and private-sector environments, with expertise in managerial accounting, audit support, payroll, general ledger management, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to his work at USUBC, Alex held various accounting roles across multiple industries, including software, architecture, legal, and nonprofit sectors, where he managed financial statements, budgeting, tax preparation, and project accounting. He holds academic training in international economics and accounting, with studies completed at the University of Washington and UW Foster School of Business.
