The partnership integrates Persistent Systems’ Wave Relay® Mobile Ad Hoc Network into AEVEX’s Atlas unmanned aerial system — previously selected for the U.S. Army’s Launched Effects-Short Range program — as well as its Mako and Mako Lite unmanned surface vessels. The Wave Relay® MANET was selected for its high scalability, resilience to electronic warfare, and collaborative targeting capabilities, with Persistent’s Cloud Relay™ additionally enabling global connectivity in contested environments. The addition of AEVEX further establishes the Wave Relay® network as a common connectivity fabric uniting unmanned systems, sensors, and warfighters across a growing ecosystem of defense platforms.
