Accordbank has provided $5 million in financing to Ukrainian UAV manufacturer “General Chereshnya,” continuing the bank’s systematic support for defense-tech enterprises. The financing will enable the company to expand production and fulfill new contracts. Oleksii Rudniev, Chairman of the Board of Accordbank, noted that the bank is investing in the expertise, decision-making speed, and financial instruments needed to help Ukrainian producers scale operations, develop technology, and strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Yaroslav Hryshyn, founder of “General Chereshnya,” said the financing serves as an effective tool for rapidly scaling production amid rising demand for Ukrainian drones, allowing for faster output of technologies used directly at the front. For Accordbank, the agreement reflects a broader strategy of providing comprehensive financial services to companies developing Ukrainian defense technologies, including settlement and cash services, guarantees, development financing, currency support, and assistance with export contracts.
