BlueBird Tech and France’s Galion Group Sign a Memorandum of Understanding on a Strategic Partnership

The Ukrainian defense-tech company BlueBird Tech and the French Galion Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This will allow them to deepen their cooperation in the field of defense technologies and the development of international partnerships.

Under the agreement, the parties will work together to identify partners in France and EU countries, attract investment for defense projects, and participate in European Defense Fund (EDF) programs.

“At a time when strengthening Ukraine’s defense-industrial base is more important than ever, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting the security of Ukraine, the EU, and allies, as well as to establishing strong industrial ties between Ukraine and Europe,” Galion Group noted.

The partnership combines BlueBird Tech’s engineering expertise in developing defense and dual-use technologies with Galion Group’s extensive network of contacts within the European defense ecosystem. This will enable the Ukrainian technology company to expand its international connections and accelerate the integration of its solutions into the European defense-industrial complex.

“For BlueBird Tech, this partnership is not only about entering new markets but also about creating joint technological solutions with European partners. We are convinced that Ukrainian defense innovations can already make a significant contribution to the security of Ukraine and all of Europe. The signing of this memorandum opens up new opportunities for international cooperation, investment, and the development of innovative projects,” notes Tetyana Uzhviy, Head of the Export Department at BlueBird Tech.

The signing of the memorandum marked another step for BlueBird Tech toward expanding its international presence and developing joint initiatives with European partners.

The technology company continues to work actively to ensure that Ukrainian defense technologies become part of the joint security system of Ukraine, Europe, and partner countries.
