On 23 June, USUBC hosted its Welcome Dinner, a networking gala that brought together USUBC Members and Partners, Senior Advisors and senior representatives of the U.S. and Ukrainian governments for a focused evening of strategic dialogue on Ukraine’s recovery, investment priorities, and transatlantic cooperation, combined with informal networking and cultural program.
Speakers and Honored Guests included USUBC Senior Advisors Anders Åslund, Amb. John Herbst, Natalie Jaresko and Anna Kovalenko, USUBC Vice-Chair of the Board Lev Holubec, Board Members Vitaliy Radchenko, Mykola Stetsenko, Katie Strangis; Amb. Oksana Markarova; Amb. Geoffrey Pyatt; Dora Chomiak, CEO, Razom for Ukraine, leadership of Ukraine’s regions – Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Council and Ihor Terekhov, Mayor of Kharkiv, alongside representatives of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, and Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy and Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories.
The evening featured a performance by Cultural Forces, an internationally recognized musical ensemble of Ukrainian army veterans, adding a meaningful artistic dimension to the gathering.
A highlight of the program was a charity auction featuring a painting by Mykhailo Skop, successfully acquired by Jim Berlin, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Logistics Plus.
