Backed by a grant from Norad, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, the 650 MW Poltavska wind power plant in central Ukraine is moving from blueprint to delivery — with funding directed toward geological surveys and critical engineering work ahead of a planned 2028 completion. Located in an energy-deficient region, the project is as much a energy security and resilience story as it is a renewable energy milestone, positioning the area for long-term investment as Ukraine rebuilds.
