Key In-person Members Meeting with Atlantic Council

On February 15, in Kyiv, the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) proudly hosted an impactful meeting with Charles Lichfield, deputy director and C. Boyden Gray senior fellow, of the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center, and Olga Khakova, the deputy director for European energy security at the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center (GEC). This event underscored Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery, uniting USUBC members from diverse sectors to collaborate on Ukraine’s future.

The Atlantic Council praised the expertise of Ukrainian professionals in cybersecurity and nuclear energy, highlighting their vital role in the nation’s rebuilding efforts. The discussions focused on Ukraine’s potential, how to attract investors to the country, and the Ukraine Recovery Program, which points to an encouraging path forward.

The meeting exemplified the Atlantic Council’s dedication to supporting Ukraine against aggression and fostering dialogue across the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine. It marks a step toward overcoming challenges with hope and determination, as we aim to build a resilient and prosperous Ukraine.
