On November 13, 2025, the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) gathered with members, partners, and friends for a very special milestone — our 30th Anniversary Networking Reception. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, connection, and celebration as we honored three decades of advancing U.S.-Ukraine business ties, and set our sights on the future.
We were delighted to be hosted by King & Spalding LLP at their beautiful Monument Conference Room in the heart of Washington, D.C. A special thank you to our gracious hosts — and to Steven M. Kupka, Partner, Special Matters and Government Investigations, for addressing our guests with thoughtful and engaging welcome remarks.
The evening’s program featured remarks from Nadiia Khomaziuk, USUBC Executive Director; George Moraczewski, Director, International Partnerships, L3Harris Technologies and USUBC Executive Committee Member; Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, Senior Managing Director, McLarty Associates and USUBC Senior Advisor; Ihor Baranetskyi, Minister-Counsellor for Economic Issues at the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA; and Borys Kremenetskyi, Major General and Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA — each of whom added a special touch of wit, reflection and inspiration.
We also showcased a moving video – a visual tribute that traced how USUBC has grown, adapted, and led the way over the past 30 years. From humble beginnings to trusted leadership, it reminded us of the dedication and collaboration that have carried us forward for three decades.
Guests enjoyed Ukrainian wine and craft beer, delicious food, and a captivating performance by GERDAN Kaleidoscope of World Music, whose stunning Ukrainian and global musical compositions filled the room and hearts alike.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our members, whose generous contributions to the USUBC Reception Fund 2025 made this celebration possible: Aero Precision, Bayer, Cargill, Eric & Oksana Luhmann, Hill International, Inc., Logistics Plus Inc., Mastercard, Northrop Grumman, RTX, SEKO Logistics, Teledyne FLIR, Westinghouse Electric Company, Winner Automotive Group. A special thank you also to PPB Craft (Persha Pryvatna Brovarnya) for their contribution to the evening.
We continue to receive touching thank you notes from attendees who found the event deeply meaningful — whether catching up with long-time partners, meeting new business contacts, or simply feeling part of a community united in purpose and vision.
To everyone who joined us — thank you for being with us on this journey. And to those whose words lifted us that night — thank you for your wit, warmth, and inspiration.
As we move into the next decade, we are guided by the spirit of our late legendary President, Morgan Williams, whose motto continues to inspire us all:
“Full speed ahead!”
