Conference “Ukraine Minerals Deal: The Contours of a Bargain and the Legal Framework for Implementation” at the London International Disputes Week (LIDW)

As part of the 2025 London International Disputes Week (LIDW), this expert-level conference will examine the geopolitical and legal dimensions of the newly launched U.S.-Ukraine Economic Partnership on Natural Resources. The event is hosted by Winston & Strawn LLP and the Ukrainian Bar Association.

Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), will join the panel of distinguished speakers to discuss Ukraine’s legal framework for subsoil use, the structure of production sharing agreements, and practical aspects of implementing the minerals deal with the United States.

The panel will be moderated by Maria Kostytska, Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP, and Olga Kuchmiienko, President of the International Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association. The session will explore key legal instruments, negotiation dynamics, and implications for multinational investors.
