DESCRIPTION:The event\, organized by the American Academy of Political and Social Science (AAPSS)\, will feature historian Timothy Snyder delivering the 2025 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Lecture on Social Science and Public Policy. In his lecture\, “Ukrainian Humanity: Rethinking How History Is Told\,” Snyder will examine Ukraine’s historical significance in shaping European civilization and offer a new perspective on global history. The program will also include remarks by Olga Stefanishyna\, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America\, and a post-lecture conversation between Timothy Snyder and Alexa Chopivsky\, Executive Director of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group.
