<p><img alt="" src="/images/Silvia_Savich_USTR.jpg" style="float:left; height:130px; width:130px" />Silvia Savich is the Deputy Assistant United States Trade Representative in the Office of Europe and the Middle East of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), Executive Office of the President. She works on Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova, and coordinates overall policy on the Eurasia and Balkan regions. She also spearheads several initiatives with the European Union on China.</p><p>Silvia joined USTR in 2017 as the Director for Europe and has worked on trade and investment policy towards and pursued bilateral trade initiatives with the European Union (and its Member States), the United Kingdom and non-EU European countries in the Balkans.</p><p>Prior to joining USTR, she worked for the Department of Commerce as a Director for Central and Southeast Europe to improve the global business environment and assisted U.S. companies and industries to compete in the Central and Southeast Europe region.</p><p>Ms. Savich has held a number of temporary overseas assignments in Europe for the Commerce Department and USTR. Ms. Savich received a Master&rsquo;s degree in International Relations and European studies from the Central European University and a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University.</p>
